Fine Future
Fine Future competed in two races during the '2025 SA Racing Carnival'.
The chestnut gelding was able to win the David ‘DT’ Thomas Memorial Provincial Pathways Final on Derby Day piloted by gun hoop Jamie Melham. Jamie was able to secure a three-wide with cover run before presenting the gelding down the middle of the track where he was able to put pay to his rivals in a matter of strides.
Fine Future backed up the following week in the Group 3 Cummings Stakes and again showed his tenacity and toughness to finish third with Jamie Melham in the saddle.
In 2026, Fine Future was victorious in the 107k The Vintage at Oakbank over the Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival and later in the preparation finished a gallant second in the 175k Swan Hill Cup over the Swan Hill Carnival in June.
